The CCEI Summer Fellowship program helps UConn students and faculty launch new ventures.

Participants spend 3 days a week developing skills needed to bring new products and technologies to market and receiving one-on-one coaching from industry experts.  Teams pursuing high-potential ventures who have formed through participation in other UConn entrepreneurship programs are encouraged to apply.

 

CCEI Summer Fellows receive:

  • Up to $15,000 in startup funding per team
  • Dedicated Mentorship
  • Professional Legal & Accounting Services
  • Connections to Fellow Entrepreneurs
  • Professional Work & Meeting Space

 

Program Overview & Dates:

  • Week 1: Self Evaluation and Goal Setting (6/5, 6/6, 6/8)
  • Week 2: Defining Your Business (6/12, 6/13, 6/15)
  • Week 3: Building Your Brand (6/20, 6/21, 6/22)
  • Week 4: Sales and Growth Strategy (6/27, 6/28, 6/29)
  • Week 5: Customer Acquisition (7/11, 7/12, 7/13)
  • Week 6: Data-Driven Decision Making (7/18, 7/19, 7/20)
  • Week 7: Forward Planning (7/25, 7/26, 7/27)
  • Week 8: Finale & Next Step Resources (8/1, 8/2, 8/3)
  • Most programming will occur between 9am and 3pm.

The inaugural launch of the CCEI Summer Fellowship program concluded on August 4, 2016. 27 teams applied to the Summer Fellowship program. 10 teams were selected. These teams represent some of the best entrepreneurs from across the university.

2016 Wolff New Venture Prize Recipients

Two distinguished entrepreneurial teams were the recipients of the 2016 Wolff New Venture Prize on Thursday, September 29th. Congratulations to LamdaVision (Dr. Nicole Wagner, Dr. Jordan Greco, Audrey Gallo, and Molly Zgoda) and Protectiscope (Elizabeth Pouya and Ryan Cordier) for their hard work, commitment, and persistence in continuing to move forward with their business ventures.
